Recipe: Cumin Marinated Grilled Flank Steak with Salsa

Summary: Flank steak has become one of my favorite cuts of meat. I love how inexpensive it is to work with and I love the way it just soaks up marinade flavors like a sponge.


    • Marinade:
    • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • ½ cup salsa (I used Martinez Medium Salsa)
    • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
    • 2 tablespoons packed fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • Juice of 1 lime (approximately 2 tablespoons)
    • Steak:
    • 1½ pounds flank steak, fat trimmed
    • Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
    • For Serving:
    • salsa (I used Martinez Medium Salsa)
