Recipe: Cherry Delight
Summary: Graham cracker crust, simple cream cheese filling, topped off with cherry pie filling. Easy, fast, basic. To anyone else it’s just another no-bake cheesecake, nothing special. To us it’s an institution, a tradition, a phenomenon.
Ingredients
- 2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 8 oz container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 3 cup bing cherries, pitted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp water
