Recipe: Chocolate Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix the above ingredients and spread into a greased 11×7 or 9×13 glass baking dish.

Top Mixture – Mix together:

  1. 1/2 cup sugar
  2. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  3. 1/4 cup cocoa
  4. Pour 1 1/2 cups hot water gently over top mixture. DO NOT MIX– just gently pour over batter mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve hot, or cold.
