Recipe: Cumin Marinated Grilled Flank Steak with Salsa
Summary: Flank steak has become one of my favorite cuts of meat. I love how inexpensive it is to work with and I love the way it just soaks up marinade flavors like a sponge.
Ingredients
- Marinade:
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ cup salsa (I used Martinez Medium Salsa)
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons packed fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Juice of 1 lime (approximately 2 tablespoons)
- Steak:
- 1½ pounds flank steak, fat trimmed
- Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
- For Serving:
- salsa (I used Martinez Medium Salsa)
