Grilled Tournedos
Ingredients
- 1/3 c. A-1 steak sauce
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 2 tbsp. minced onion
- 8 (1 1/2 inch) steaks from beef tenderloin
- 1/4 c. orange marmalade
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 8 slices bacon
Instructions
- Mix steak sauce, marmalade, lemon juice, onion and garlic. Wrap each steak with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpick. Grill on hot heat, 450 to 475 degrees.
- Turn every 4 minutes and baste each time. Cook for 20 minutes for medium well, or 16-18 minutes for medium rare. Do not baste the last 2 turnings.
