I found this recipe that promised it was exactly how they make it at Mexican restaurants! It was so creamy and delicious I had to share it!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb block White Queso Blanco Cheese cut into 1? cubes
  • 1/4 cup diced green chiles (you can pick up a small can of these near the Mexican foods at your grocery)
  • 2 pickled jalapenos, chopped (you can get a jar of sliced pickled jalapenos at the grocery and then eyeball what looks like 2 jalapenos)
  • 1 ounce pickled jalapeno juice
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • a pinch of cumin

    • We get our cheese from a global supermarket that we have in town. We have seen it at Wal-Mart as well. If your Wal-Mart is laid out similar to ours, it will be near the sliced cheeses. I imagine it would be in about the same location at other grocers as well.
