Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Frosting -  I made these pumpkin spice cupcakes with salted caramel frosting for a jewelry party I hosted at my house the other night. They were UH-MAZ-ING! These are a fabulous fall dessert.

Ingredients:

Ingredients for cupcake:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground or freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree

Ingredients for frosting:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter + 1 T. butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
