Recipe: Strawberries with Zabaglione

Summary: This delicious custard-like dessert is known by many different names in many different countries and the wine or liqueur used can vary to compliment the type of fruit you use. This would be wonderful over pound cake too! It’s a wonderfully versatile dessert sauce and I’m excited to try other variations this summer.


    • 6 egg yolks at room temperature
    • 3/4 cup extra-fine sugar
    • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier (or Marsala)
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
