Recipe: Trail Boss Bake
Summary: Hungry cowboys wait for no man. They fill their plates, fill their bellies, and then move on so stragglers can fill their plates . . . Cowboys eat first, talk later and so will you when you’re served this favorite.
Ingredients
- 4 lbs 75% lean ground beef
- 2 large onions chopped
- 4 oz container sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 32 oz bag frozen veggies (your choice)
- 2 12 oz cans of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 bag frozen tator tots
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Brown hamburger, onions, and mushrooms (drain) Add flour, salt, and pepper – mix well
- Divide meat mixture in half – place in bottom of two 9×13 pans Top with frozen veggies
- Place soup in bowl and mix until creamy spread over veggies, place tator tots over veggies
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350
- Remove, add cheese, and cook for more 15 mins
